East Region: Day trip to Castle Hof

On May 30^th, 28 Enthusiasts’ met with their Jags at the Danube Tower Vienna for the first “region east” tour.

The route took us through the eastern Marchfeld and finally to Schloss Hof where we had a great guided tour “The warrior, the widow and her son – Prinz Eugen, Maria Theresia and Josef II”.
Schloss Hof – the former Imperial country residence was one of the most glorious baroque palaces in the Habsburg land. After great lunch and walk through the picturesque baroque garden we returned back to Vienna where we concluded this great day with a nice dinner and a good glass of wine.
