The Planai-Classic; Austria’s famous “snow and ice rallye” in early January included an outstanding XK 140 from 1954. Forty cars faced the challenge and drove through the snow covered Austrian mountain roads. The famous Finnish rallye legend Rauno Aaltonen in his Mini Cooper finally won the 18th Planai-Classic. The oldest cars were a Lea Francis P-Type, 1927 and a Sunbeam Supersport, 1930.
