On 15th November the second Jaguar Classic Cup winning ceremony took place at the Jaguar lounge Denzil Vienna. Moderator, Gregor Waltl, who is well known from previous classic car rallies like ‘Südsteiermark Classic’ and motor sport events, guided us skilfully through the evening. Around 100 guests took up the invitation and enjoyed an evening in the middle of the latest Jaguar models, among them guests from the JEC-Hungary. Third place went to Helmut and Sonja Blümel (last year winner of the Jaguar Classic Cup) in their Jaguar E-type S1 FHC and they received a voucher for a weekend at Health and Spa Resort Piestany. Second place went to Florian and Dieter Böhmdorfer in their Jaguar MK II. They received fully comprehensive insurance for their car for one year, handed over by Christian Zettl from Garanta Insurance. The overall winners of the Jaguar Classic Cup 2013 were Hannes and Gitti Frech in their Jaguar E-type S1.5 FHC. Thomas Köpert from Vredestein Austria handed over the first prize, a voucher for Vredestein classic car tyres, and the coveted Jaguar trophy was handed over by Christian Mitterdorfer representing the main Club, who sponsored the trophy – many thanks! Peter Brandl, representing Denzel, and host of the evening declared the buffet officially open. We enjoyed the evening in simply talking things about Jaguar and Classic Car Rally, as well as about the new Jaguar models we had the opportunity to test in the afternoon.
