Meeting of the ÖMVV (Austrian Motor and Veterans Association)

On July the 13^th the ÖMVV invited to a meeting with the motto: “In our garages we have cultural heritage”.

Agendas of the meeting

–          information and news about the international develop with the main focus on “Charta of Turin” – restoration, originality of vehicles and the new EU-guidelines for a common vehicle inspection

–          reorganisation of the ÖMVV, outlook and targets

–          the new cooperation between the ÖMVV and the “Oldie Car Cover” (OCC) and the benefits of a classic car insurance.

–          panel discussion on the topics “Charter of Turin” and the new EU-guidelines for vehicle inspection

At least, Dr. Herbert Werner invited us to his HCW private museum one of the highlight was the only surviving bus Gräf & Stift 120 OGL “Glockner-Bus”.

On the way back home we visited the Lotus Club Austria in the Ausseerland with the famous Lotus Bus in front of the club location which is well known from the classic car shows and Lotus meetings.
